Rivoulich Lodge is set high above Loch Ness in the Abriachan Forest. Peace and tranquillity abound and our location is ideal for photographers, writers, wildlife watchers and activity enthusiasts. We love our moody skies and the ever-changing landscape that the Scottish Highlands give us. There is so much to see and do that you’ll be spoilt for choice. With dark sky status, our autumn and winter nights are stunning and definitely something not to be missed. As beautiful in the later months as in the earlier part of the year, you can enjoy a whole new experience and discover that whatever the weather, Scotland just offers different kinds of beautiful all year.

Stay In Our Individually Designed Rooms
Our rooms have all been individually styled and provide you with a stylish and spacious place to relax and unwind. We use top quality bedding in our rooms for that feeling of luxury. Where rooms contain our sumptuous down and feather duvets and pillows, we can substitute fibre alternatives on request. There is no traffic noise, probably the only thing you’ll hear are the birds.

Start your day with our delicious breakfast options. We offer a full Scottish for those with an appetite, or we can substitute the meat for vegetarian alternatives, such as an omelette or our homemade vegetarian ‘black pudding’ or veggie haggis and sausage. Our Continental includes yoghurt, fruit and home-baked breakfast pastries or just a light bite, such as cereal or fruit and nuts. Whatever you choose, you won’t go hungry. Of course, it goes without saying that fresh juice and coffee are also available, along with a superb range of teas.

Abriachan Forest offers numerous walks and cycle trails for every ability. Walk to the top of Carn a oojie and take in the view from the top. On a clear day, you might see Ben Nevis.
