From M5 – Exit at junction 31 onto the A38. Continue onto the A380 signposted Torquay. Follow the signs onto the A3022 (signposted Seafront). On reaching the seafront road, turn left signposted Harbour. With the sea on your right, follow the road round until you reach the monument roundabout by Debenhams. Take the first exit and turn left onto Torwood Street A379. Drive a short distance up the hill and turn right at the next traffic lights into Parkhill Road. This becomes Meadfoot Road. Drive straight up Meadfoot Road with Parkhill Medical Practice to your right. Continue up the hill then turn first right into Meadfoot Lane. This is a sharp right turn so beware of traffic approaching from the other direction.

Drive a short distance along Meadfoot Lane and take the first left into Vane Hill Road. Stay on this road and drive all the way up the hill, past Shirley Towers on your right, until you reach a tight hairpin bend. Take care not to hit the white bollard on your left as you navigate it. Larger cars may need to manoeuvre.  From the bend continue a short distance up the hill and Vane Tower is the first gateway on your right with Vane Tower written on the gatepost.
