The Sovereign Harbour is the largest composite harbour complex in North Europe, Whether you’re looking to shop, relax, be entertained, eat and drink or simply enjoy a stroll around the marina.

Pevensey Castle  1.5 Miles  (2.4Km) 

Just a 30 minute walk away….    The site was originally used as a Roman fort. After the Norman Conquest it was given to William the Conqueror’s half-brother who used the Roman walls to construct a castle. It lay uninhabited from the 16th century.

Eastbourne’s Bandstand  4.4 Miles (7 Km)

This Eastbourne tradition is celebrated every Wednesday evening usually from May until the end of October, consisting of a culmination of concert music which ends triumphantly with the prestigious Tchaikovsky’s 1812 overture accompanied by a spectacular Firework display.  The Fireworks can usually be heard from the Studio.

They also have many different performers and tribute bands throughout the summer.

The Devonshire Park Theatre is a Grade II listed Victorian theatre with a seating capacity of 936.  The theatre was designed by Henry Currey and was built in 1884. In 1903 it was further improved by celebrated theatre architect Frank Matcham. It is one of the best examples of small Victorian Theatre in the country.
